As soon as I start thinking that I could never possibly adore him even more, this adorkable human beeing just posts fluffy shit on his official facebook page just like that
‘The queen of the house is napping. SHH SHHH’, from @living-by-karma, thanks!
It’s been awhile. Let me show you what everyone’s missing out on.
This is Big Boy. He’s big. And a boy. And I love him very much.
Black Cat Educational Post
I want to make this perfectly clear. Black cats are not evil. Black cats are not bad luck. Black cats cannot steal one’s soul.
One of the origins of these myths dates back to the Dark Ages. The church declared black cats to be evil due to the misguided belief that they were sent by the devil to help witches with their evil agendas and, so, many of the cats were killed. As a result, the rat population, carrying the bubonic plague, climbed, leading to one of the darkest times in history.
However, Eqyptians worshipped cats and the Eqyptian cat was black. Black cats were revered for their life-saving abilities as they kept food stores safe from disease ridden critters, such as mice and rats. Further, Bast, daughter of the sun god Ra and goddess of protection, is part black cat and part woman. Because of this, it became illegal to kill black cats and any such offense, even accidental, was punishable by death.
If you’re one of those who believe the superstitions, please educate yourself. It might save a life.
Happy early caturday!
